Our story

WEBBS Builders Merchants (formerly H.J.Webb & Son) started in the late 1960’s when founder John & Isobel started importing plywood on a very small scale - before that Montague, John’s Father, used to sell the odd building product from the site in the 1930s. Today Webb’s is owned by Jez and founder Isobel wife of the late John Webb.

Today more than ever, we pride ourselves on our friendly service, so expect a warm and efficient welcome. We want you to receive an excellent service but we also want you to enjoy your time at Webbs.

Due to our low overheads we can compete with ANY firm on ANY like for like product. Nationwide delivery on all of our products is possible depending on the size of the order, so do not hesitate to ask for a quote where ever you are. You will be pleasantly surprised how competitive we can be.

Monthly account facilities are given to regular users, making life easier for our trade customers.
